Is the Viasat/Inmarsat Deal a Match Made in Heaven?
On Monday, 8 November, Viasat announced it reached an agreement to acquire U.K-based global SatCom operator Inmarsat in a blockbuster USD 7.3 billion deal. Viasat plans to finance the deal via a mix of USD 850 million in cash, 46.36 million stock offering valued at USD 3.1 billion and absorb USD 3.4 billion in net.
