BEA: Updated and Revised Estimates of the U.S Space Economy, 2012-2019

The two other dominant industries in the space economy, manufacturing and government, were consistent positive contributors to real gross output and real GDP growth over most of the period. The fast growth in real gross output and real GDP for manufacturing, driven by gains in satellite and GPS/PNT equipment manufacturing, aligns with private-industry reports of significant increases in satellite capacity and capabilities over the period.
